Kulai vs Senai vs Johor Bahru: Choosing the Right Confinement Centre Location
We have four branches across northern and central Johor — two in Kulai, one in Senai, and one in Johor Bahru — and the question we get asked most after pricing is simply: "which one is closest to me?" Here's how to think about it.
Kulai (21哩 & IOI) — Two Branches, One Town
Kulai is where we have the most options: a branch near the 21哩 area and another near IOI, both within Kulai itself. If you live in or around Kulaijaya, having two branches in different parts of town usually means a shorter drive either way, rather than having to cross the whole town to reach us. This is our most affordable tier, with a warm, home-like feel — a good fit for families who want quality care without the premium price tag.
Senai — The Right Call for Skudai Families
Senai sits almost exactly between Kulai and Skudai — only about 4km from each, along Skudai Highway. That might sound like a small detail, but it matters in practice: Kulai itself is roughly 15–17km from Skudai, which is a noticeably longer drive for your husband popping by after work, or family visiting with your other children.
If you're based in Skudai, Taman Universiti, or anywhere along that stretch toward Senai Airport, our Senai branch is almost certainly your closest option — closer than either of our Kulai branches, and still on the same affordable Kulai–Senai pricing tier.
Johor Bahru (Century) — Our JB Premium Centre
For families based in JB city itself — Century Garden, Tebrau, or central Johor Bahru — our flagship JB branch is the natural choice. It's also our premium tier: more spacious private ensuite rooms, weekly doctor check-ups, and jaundice care if needed, for families who want a more elevated experience and don't mind the higher price point.
Quick Guide by Where You Live
- Kulaijaya / northern Johor: Kulai (21哩) or Kulai (IOI) — whichever side of town is closer to you.
- Skudai / Taman Universiti / near Senai Airport: Senai — closer than either Kulai branch.
- Johor Bahru city / Century / Tebrau: Johor Bahru (Century) — our premium flagship.
- Coming from Singapore: any of the four work well; most SG families pick based on how their planned drive route lines up, not strictly distance.
